I’m the daughter of Taiwanese immigrants and a not-so-New-Jerseyan New Jersey native.
I'm also a career changer, reforming perfectionist and people-pleaser. And, I’m someone who used to struggle with anxiety and seasonal affective disorder. In short, I wouldn't be human if I didn't also have my faults.
As your coach, I show up empathetically to your humanity. I treat you with kindness and appreciation of your identity, knowing you're already an amazing human being.

I believe in experimenting to seek understanding of oneself. I'll have you try things to see if an idea fits you or abandon it if it doesn't.

Perspective
I take time to learn about you, reflecting back what seems important to you and what does not. You might call it rambling, but I call it navigating.

I believe in honoring what is unknown to enhance your self-reflection and hone your ability to spot how to achieve your goals. We are liberal with inviting uncertainty.
What I bring to our partnership
We get creative in our coaching sessions. As a user experience professional, I help you get clear on the ideas floating in your head by utilizing my history in design thinking - essentially scaffolding to enable focused, creative thought without bias. We’ll experiment and discover, create and uncover.
Design thinking methods
As a career changer myself from mechanical engineering to user experience design, I am familiar with the feelings of uncertainty that come with that decision. I am empathetic with this experience and will guide you towards your sense of confidence for any new journey you decide to take.
